Beacon Labs is committed to your privacy. We do not collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us.
You may decide to send Beacon Labs your Personal Data, for example, in an e-mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out our web form that provides us this information. Our web form collects your first and last name, phone number, e-mail address and the message you provide to us.
We want to be very clear, we will not obtain your Personal Data when you visit our site unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. Beacon Labs uses MailChimp which collects subscribers’ email address, first name, and last name which Beacon Labs can use to email you information about our work such as new project updates, product launches, new partnerships, job postings, and may solicit volunteers for contributions or user research.
Beacon Labs uses Donorbox, which collects donors’ first name, last name, email address, and credit card information, however, Beacon Labs does not see or receive any credit card information. Beacon Labs can only see who donates to it. Beacon Labs will only use this information to send thanks or publicly acknowledge donors’ contributions.
Beacon Labs uses Google Hire, which collects applicant’s first name, last name, email address, phone number, website, resume attachment and cover letter attachment. Beacon Labs intends to use this information for recruiting and hiring purposes and does not intend to share this information with third parties unless explicitly agreed by the user (ie: in the case of referring a candidate to another job).
Our website has a direct link in the top navigation to Beacon Labs’ Medium page on which users can read content and comment if they have a Medium account. Beacon Labs may use users’ comments as feedback on Beacon Labs published content.
You are free to choose whether to provide such information. Each of these sites have privacy policies of their own. Beacon Labs is not responsible for the privacy practices of others and we recommend you read their privacy notices.
